Our History In 1949 a local group of parents got together and decided that their children needed a place to learn and play. This group founded a small charter school where parents are partners in their child's early years of education. This idea is the foundation of our philosophy. This small school grew over the years for the benefit of our children through much hard work and dedication and the continued support of our parents and our community. Our Cooperative Spirit Our school is owned and operated by the parent body. The executive board, elected by the parents, tends to daily operations and keeps things running smoothly. Monthly parent meetings keep the parents informed of upcoming events. Fun and Learning Your child will be offered many opportunities to grow and discover different experiences throughout each program. Our environment offers children a place to make new friends and to freely explore new situations. Parents are partners in their child's first years and will become familiar faces. Our school day offers free play, arts and crafts, circle time, story time, and outside play time to mention just a few things. Our program offers an introduction to basic concepts and skills and will provide a solid foundation for Kindergarten.
